Alligator Sunbath
I've seen about a dozen alligators this week on a week long trip to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. This is the first time I was here, and I hadn't realized how common alligators are here, right in the most populated areas, too. This guy is about 5 feet long (estimate), and less than 100 yards from a row of townhouses and along the road.
