Still Stuck in the Mud
The Intrepid, the World War II era aircraft carrier that's been docked the last 24 years in NYC as a floating museum, was supposed to be moved about a month ago for a complete restoration and refurbishment. But despite the efforts of six tugs, and the highest tide of the year, it still sits in the mud along the Hudson River just a few feet from its previous position.
