Close-up
I really like the sharpness of the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lens, but wish it focused closer. So I bought a set of Quantaray close-up filters -- +1, +2, and +4 to experiment with. So far I'm a little disappointed with the lack of sharpness, although I haven't used them very much yet. This shot of a flower backlit by open shade on my front porch was taken with the +2 close-up filter.
